Making a debut in the Kaduna State Beach Volleyball Sallah Slam, the Kafanchan-Based team, Kaf Ambassadors posted a two unreplied sets win over Hitmen Beach Team in their opening game.
Speaking with http://www.newspanorama.com.ng, the Kaf Ambassadors’ team captain, Godwin Daniel who partnered with Jumare Henry Peace said “We are excited about our opening match victory and we are here to prove a point despite being neglected at the Southern end of Kaduna state”.
“We are neglected in the sense that nobody takes competition or volleyball clinic to our area, coupled with a lack of support but that has not hindered our determination to drive our passion for the game”.
However, the team coming fresh, fit, and with high determination from the recently concluded 2023 Abuja Invitational Volleyball 🏐 Challenge Volleyball Challenge, the Kaf Ambassadors team expressed determination to go all the way to play in the final of the Kaduna Sallah Slam senior category.
The team which trained at the KASU-Kafanchan Campus was established by Coach Ben with a trainer from the state university.
The Kaf Ambassadors will take on Boro Beach Volleyball Team to round up their group game and can pass through to the next stage with another victory.
