These are indeed not easy times for communities grappling to have one of the basic necessities of life which is portable water to use within homes.
Getting wind of it,the Chairman and Founder of Dayyabu Garga Foundation,Dr.Dayyabu Yusuf Garga immediately directed a survey of some of the areas worst hit and immediately four communities were identified,Gangare,Utan,Rikkos and Tudun Wada.
On the heels of such directives the foundation was mobilized to drop tankers of water to ameliorate the hardship faced as the rains begin to set in.
Though a temporary measure the Foundation has engaged services of reputatable water drilling company to identify and plan towards sinking boreholes in some of these communities. This to ensure in the nearest future some succor come to those communities.
A gesture largely welcomed by all and sundry since the regular supply of water has been so epileptic and therefore a huge challenge to communities.
One of the thematic areas contained in the vision and missions of the Foundation aside Education and Health is infrastructure which covers the areas intervention and the next coming.
No wonder the accolades by these benefiting communities when women,children and even men trooped out to get water from the intervention of Dayyabu Garga Foundation recently.
Having sponsored hundreds and still having quiet a number under it's sponsorship in tertiary institutions across the country.Having sponsored several medical interventions across the length and breath of the country and ensured out of school children get back to school,it is a worthwhile intervention that will spur others to render support where necessary.
Dr.Dayyabu Yusuf Garga with his team have machted words with action in various spheres to that.
As we continue to build on our interventions it is hoped that God will further expand the frontiers of this Foundation to meet the needs of more citizens.
