Parents have been charged to emulate the teaching of Jesus in taking Care of widows and support the orphanage homes for brotherly society.
The Reverend of Hekan LCC Church, Sabon Tasha, Reverend Luka Zachariah made the plea in a sermon to mark the end of 'Widows Week' across the ECWA Churches in the country.
Reverend Luka Zachariah explained from the Holy Book that do not exploit the orphanages because your wife could be widow or your children's will be fatherless due to wrong to doing.
He said widow and orphans are under the care of God protection that need good training, warning believers not to maltreat them, "always regards them as your wife and your children in other to have blessings from God.
Reverend Luka Zachariah appealed to federal and state governments to reconsider the hardships Nigerian's are facing today to provide cushion the effects of the hardships.
He prayed for those that lost their loved ones as a result of unwanton killings of innocent by some gunmen in the southern part of Kaduna state.
The church service which ended up with drama themed 'maltreatment of orphans or orphanages with lesson on how to properly handle of widows in the society.
