No fewer than 250 Fulani students have so far, benefited from the educational scholarship of Fulbe Umminobe Sukabe Development Association of Nigeria (FUSADAN).
The leader of FUSADAN, Comrade Mohammad Ardo, who disclosed in an interview, said that number 135 have graduated while others are still studying at various tertiary institutions across the country.
"FUSADAN is also making an effort to secure employment for those who graduated and about 38 persons were employed, occasioned by the association."
Mohammad Ardo urged the students to study hard and remain good ambassadors Fulbe Umminobe Sukabe Development Association of Nigeria and shunned any act of criminalities and all forms of negativity.
"We are always proud of what our students are doing in classes, so far," he however prayed they should be diligent in their studies and come out with flying colors.
Comrade Mohammad Ardo appealed to the federal government to also provide intervention to cattle breeders the same way it supported farmers.
"I will appeal to the federal government to give needed attention and interventions like those provided to local farmers because the Ministry of Agriculture only supports farmers relegating Fulani at the expense of their cattle."
The FUSADAN Leader called for fairness and a level playing ground in all socioeconomic endeavors which he said would be the panacea to the herders-farmers crisis.
Mohammad Ardo then called on the federal and state governments to ensure a halt to what he described as “the extra-judicial killings of Fulani in the country”.
