The Wife of the Executive Governor of Kaduna State, Hajiya Hafsat Uba Sani has Launched the Smart Mother Initiative at the just concluded 2023 Kaduna State Nutritious Fair, held at the Musa Yar'adua Hall, Murtala Square.
This is contained in a statement by the Public Relations Officer of the Planning and Budget Commission, Jummai Nuhu issued Monday 11th, December 2023 in Kaduna.
While Speaking at the event, Hajiya Hafsat Uba Sani, represented at the occasion by the Director, of Development Aid Coordination, Planning and Budget Commission, Hajiya Aishatu Mohammed, expressed enthusiasm for the initiative.
She highlighted the initiative's goal of promoting healthy and nutritious family feeding, using locally grown staple crops.
She emphasized the significance of a mother's role in food-related initiatives, including ensuring food availability at home and preparing healthy nutritious meals for the family.
Furthermore, Hajiya Hafsat Uba Sani pledged her commitment to becoming a Smart Mother and to serve as an Ambassador for nutritious foods and healthy living.
She commended Harvest Plus and other Partners for their collaboration with the State Government in the fight against malnutrition, expressing confidence in the positive impact of these efforts on the well-being of Kaduna State residents.
