ZAKARI ISAH - KADUNA
The Management of Kaduna Electric has apologised for the prolonged outages experienced by customers in our franchise states.
A statement by the Head, Corporate Communication, Abdulazeez Abdullahi said, "This is as a result of drop in power generation nationwide, which has affected our daily load allocation".
"In the past 10 days, our daily load allocation has dropped significantly and is severely inadequate to serve our customers adequately across our four franchise states".
The statement explained that the drop in allocation has therefore forced the company to adopt load shedding in the distribution of the load received.
"We regret the inconvenience and promise improvement in supply as soon as generation picks up", the statement added.
