Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, has reaffirmed his administration’s dedication to completing the state-of-the-art Kaduna State Media Corporation (KSMC) TV studio, a project inherited from the previous administration.
This commitment was made known by the new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of KSMC, Ahmed Maiyaki, during a reception celebrating his appointment.
Maiyaki pledged to work tirelessly to promote the state government’s activities and propagate its policies to rural communities through collaboration with the Department of Public Affairs and the governor’s media team.
He emphasized the importance of ensuring that the governor’s message is understood and supported by all, regardless of political affiliations or former titles.
The Chairman of Kaduna North Local Government Council, Mukthar Baloni, extended his congratulations to Maiyaki and assured the readiness of his council and others in the state to collaborate in taking government policies to the people.
The Permanent Secretary, Office of the Kaduna State Governor, Alh. Aminu Murtala Dabo urged Maiyaki to utilize the supplementary budget to enhance human resources for effective service delivery.
The All Progressive Congress (APC) state secretary, Yahaya Baba Pate, described Maiyaki as an experienced journalist and asset to the party.
The event featured goodwill messages, and presentations of gifts, food, and drinks, with speakers praising Maiyaki’s appointment as a perfect fit, putting a “square peg in a square hole.”
