Following the resolution of the long-standing land dispute at the National Eye Centre Mahuta Layout, affected residents have expressed their support for Governor Uba Sani’s leadership and endorsed him for a second term.

Speaking on behalf of the affected residents whose houses were demolished, retired Colonel Haruna Idris Zaria praised the governor’s compassionate approach to governance.

He emphasized how the swift and structured resolution of the crisis had restored confidence among homeowners, allowing them to legally secure their properties after years of uncertainty.

The endorsement comes after the Kaduna State Government, through the Kaduna State Geographic Information Services (KADGIS), issued over 300 land titles to affected residents whose houses were demolished during the Nasiru El rufai’s administration in the state.

The initiative has not only provided legal certainty but has also eased tensions within the Mahuta community.

They noted that the governor’s willingness to tackle such complex issues head-on reflects his dedication to fairness and development. They credited him with ensuring that no more demolitions threaten their homes and livelihoods, allowing them to live peacefully without fear of displacement.

With land disputes being a persistent challenge in urban development, Governor Uba Sani’s approach to resolving the Eye Centre Mahuta Layout crisis has been seen as a benchmark for handling similar issues across Kaduna State.

His administration’s efforts in addressing the concerns of ordinary citizens have further strengthened his relationship with the people, reinforcing their trust in his leadership
