The Secretary of Kada Warriors FC, Labaran Hassan, has directed all players, members of the technical crew and other officials of the club to take advantage of the ongoing opportunity to obtain or renew their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs).
According to the club secretary, the directive is part of the team’s support for the administration of Uba Sani, Governor of Kaduna State.
“As a state team, we are an extension of this government therefore we need to support it to continue the good work for the people of Kaduna State,” he said.
Labaran Hassan said it is important for members of the team to participate actively in the civic process by ensuring they possess valid voter cards, noting that this would enable them to contribute to democratic participation when the need arises.
He explained that the move also aligns with efforts to encourage civic responsibility among players and officials of Kada Warriors FC.
“At this juncture, I will personally appreciate the team Chairman Honourable Sadiq Mamman Lagos, who doubles as the Commissioner of Local Government Affairs in Kaduna State, for ensuring the team lacks nothing,” he added.
The secretary further urged members of the team who are yet to register or renew their voter cards to promptly visit Inec-designated registration Centres in the State or their various Local Government Offices closest.
