Speaking after the inaugural meeting of the new leadership, the newly elected Publicity Secretary, Muhammed Sani Haruna said the peaceful process was made possible by the stabilizing role played by our leader, governor Uba Sani.
Sani Haruna explained that the governor’s emphasis on fairness ensured that the 36-member executive committee reflects the diverse political interests across the state.
The new executive committee is headed by the State Chairman and has been tasked with mobilizing support for the party ahead of the 2027 general elections.
According to Sani, the leadership has already begun efforts to achieve the target set by Governor Uba Sani and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, of delivering several million votes for the APC in the 2027 polls.
He noted that the governor’s style of governance has strengthened support for the party across the state.
Sani Haruna also expressed appreciation to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas, for his continued support and commitment to the growth and unity of the APC in Kaduna State.
He added that the APC has been gaining increased backing in Southern Kaduna, which he described as a sign that the state government’s policies and programmes are being widely accepted.
The newly inaugurated 36-member council includes key party officials such as Atiku Sankey as Chairman, as Deputy Chairman, and as Secretary.
In the communication, Muhammed Sani Haruna serves as Publicity Secretary, while is the Assistant Publicity Secretary.
Other members include as Women Leader, as Youth Leader, and as Physical Challenge Leader.
Sani Haruna said the new leadership would focus on strengthening party unity and expanding grassroots participation.
He emphasized that the APC remains open to all members and called for cooperation within the party to support ongoing development efforts in Kaduna State.
The Publicity Secretary also urged members to work together in consolidating the rural transformation and urban renewal programmes currently taking place across the state under the leadership of Governor Uba Sani.
