2022 NFF ELECTION: Eleven Cleared, Two Disqualified




Eleven out of the thirteen candidates nursing the ambition to become the next president of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), have been cleared by the Electoral committee, reports www.totorinews.com.

Seyi Akinwunmi, 1st Vice President of NFF, Shehu Dikko, 2nd Vice President of NFF, Ibrahim Musa Gusau, Chairman of Chairmen, Hon. Suleiman Kwande  are some of the notable names cleared.

Other prominent names cleared are Bar. Musa Amadu, former Scribe of the Federation, Amanze Uchegbulam, Dr. Christian Emeruwa,  Peterside Idah, former Super Eagles goalkeeper, Abba Mouktar Mohammed FCT FA Chairman, Abba Yola and David – Buhari Doherty, 

Marcello Anyanwu and Paul Yusuf are the only candidates disqualified by the Electoral committee due to invalid nomination.

Ahmed Yusuf was cleared to contest for the position  of Chairman of Chairmen. He is sole candidate for the position.

Virtually all the candidates that bought nomination forms and submitted to contest for the executive committee of the Federation were cleared except Ayodeji Ogunjobi, who was disqualified based on tax clearance issues
