Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN) has been urged to redouble its efforts in the discharge and adhering to the core values of the profession.
The Vice Chairman ANAN, and also the Auditor General of Kaduna state, Abubakar Abdullahi made the plea in a chat with newsmen in Kaduna.
Abubakari Abdullahi said motivation, support, and cooperation are key requirements for every professional atmosphere and successful administration.
Abubakar Abdullahi charged accounting practitioners to constantly be upscaling their knowledge to remain relevant in the dynamic financial sector, “this can always be achieved by enrolling themselves in the colleges of accountancy to qualify them to be full members and active professionals”.
He called on them to employ youths in their various organizations to reduce unemployment and mentor the youths.
Abubakar Abdullahi charged members of the association to continue to build a good relationship between them and the public.
