Victims of the bandit’s attacks and the 2022 flood disaster in Birnin Gwari Local Government Areas of Kaduna State have been presented with relief materials by the National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA.
Presenting the items, the Director General of NEMA, Alhaji Mustapha Habib Ahmed said the items are meant to Ameliorate the suffering of the affected persons.
Alhaji Mustapha who was represented by the Director of Relief and Rehabilitation, Alhassan Nuhu however acknowledged the effort of the Kaduna State Government for providing the first line of support to the affected population.
The Director General assured of NEMA’s readiness as always to further collaborate with the state government and other relevant stakeholders to distribute the materials.
In a remark, the Kaduna Central Senatorial standard bearer, Sani Muhammed Dattijo who canvassed for assistance pledged to transport the items to Birnin Gwari Local Government for the beneficiaries.
Represented by Ahmed Maiyaki appreciated NEMA and Senator Kashim Shettima for facilitating the gesture.
