Scientists and Environmental Journalists have recommended how to make climate change stories compelling by reporters across the globe when writing news related to solutions journalism.
They called on journalists to always use angles, sources, desks, beats, and editors to connect stories to people.
The scientists also recommended the Use of data, not jargon, and the usage of polls, investigative reports, graphics, photos, and new media, to explain probabilities, and levels of confidence.
"It enables journalists to look at future projections and how those scenarios can be addressed, hence adaptive measures have taken on new urgency for more conversation going forward".
"Climate change impacts different communities in different ways and there may be things similar communities can learn from one another.
