The General overseer of Christ evangelical and life intervention Ministry, Kaduna, Pastor Yohanna Buru, has led a delegation of some Christians to Sheikh Dr Ahmed Gumi’s home to commensurate and condole with him over the death of his mother, yesterday after a brief illness.
Buru said, they received the shocking death story of Gumi’s mother yesterday evening via the media and then they deem it necessary to visit and condole with a renowned Kaduna-based Islamic scholar and the whole family over the irreparable loss.
Pastor Yohanna while praying to almighty God to grant her Aljannatul Firdausi, disclosed that Sheikh Dr Ahmed Gumi has been his good friend for a very long time.
“May her gentle soul rest in peace, and may almighty God bless her family” he said.
Pastor Buru equally exchanged greetings with other top Nigerian Islamic scholars, like Sheikh Bala Lau, Sheikh Yusuf Sambo Rigachikum, Sheikh Halliru Maraya and Sheikh Mohammed Auwal.
Furthermore, He also exchanged greetings with the Gubernatorial aspirant of the Peoples Democratic party Alhaji Isah Ashiru kudan, and the Managing Director of Dialogue Computer, Alhaji Shehu Mahdi and other philanthropists.
Sheikh Dr Ahmed Gumi thanked Pastor Yohanna Buru for the visit.
It was however, gathered that Sheikh Gumi, announced the death of his mother via his verified Facebook handle on Sunday evening at about 5.30 pm.
