'New Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani Will Be Passionate About Healthcare’ -Dr. Jamil (KASU)

A medical expert who was the Head of the medical team of the Uba Sani-Hadiza Campaign Council, Dr Jamil Haruna has described the new Kaduna State governor, Senator Uba Sani as the new pillar of healthcare delivery.

Dr Jamil made the assertion in an interview briefly after Uba Sani was administered with an Oath of office, on the 29th of May, 2023 in Kaduna.

The medical expert said the tenth Kaduna State governor is always passionate about the health of the common man.

“This is someone who had invested over ten million nairas on the health concern of his constituency and over twenty thousand benefited from his medical outreach, including about three hundred surgeries”.

“I am screamingly, elated that Kaduna State people have made the right decision by electing the right person that service is his hallmark”.

Dr. Jamil said the immediate past government of Governor Nasiru El-Rufai has succeeded in turning around the state in every sector of human endeavor and deserves commendation.



Dr Jamil Haruna who is also a lecturer at the Kaduna State University maintained that for many years to come the investment in infrastructural development in the state by the El-Rufai administration would remain a legacy.

He assured that Senator Uba Sani’s government will further consolidate and build on the successes for the greater benefit of the people of the state.

He then advised the new administration in the state to tackle the challenge of insecurity and other social problems head-on.

The medical doctor expressed confidence that the standard of primary healthcare centers in the state will be strengthened, while the 255 centers will be upgraded in each ward.

“Upgrade another set of 255 PHCs to further expand access, and reduce congestion in high population centers and will equip more PHCs with solar power to enable them to provide 24-hour services” Dr. Jamil reported.

He also congratulated him on a deserved opportunity.
