President of the Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF), Engineer Musa Nimrod has congratulated Isaiah Kemje Benjamin, following his emergence as the President of Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN).
He expressed this, when SWAN President accompanied by some Kaduna State executive of the association, paid him a courtesy visit at his office in Kaduna on Monday.
Engineer Nimrod, who is also the Chairman, Kaduna State Volleyball Association (KADSVA), described the victory at the SWAN Triennial Delegates Conference in Omoku, Port Harcourt Rivers State last Thursday, as a challenge to develop sports further in Nigeria.
He prayed for a successful tenure, while urging SWAN president to be a team player to achieve the desired results
Nimrod, who is Kaduna SWAN patron, pledged to always support the association whenever the need arises.
Earlier, Mr Benjamin told NVBF president that he was on the visit to thank him and present the certificate of return to him.
He thanked him for the support he has always rendered the association, while soliciting for same to be maintained with the new Kaduna SWAN Chairman and his executive, as well as the national executive of the association.
SWAN President informed him that the visit was the first on series of others billed to take place to all sporting federations in the country.
