The member representing Pankshin/ Kanke/Kanam Federal Constituency, Rt Hon Yusuf Adamu Gagdi OON has just had his tenure renewed as Chairman, House Committee on Navy of the Tenth Assembly.
Those who know are quick to point out that the steadfastness of the people's representative has resulted in more assignments bestowed on him.
There is no denying the fact, he has continued to give good account of his capacity to deliver; and it is on record having this additional responsibility is invariably stating the obvious: The result of hard work is more work.
Going by the public hearing on the Investigation of Federal Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs), Parastatals and Tertiary Institutions on the Mismanagement of Personal Recruitment, Employment, Racketeering and Gross Mismanagement of the IPPIS, the choice is not misplaced.
Under the new arrangement of heading the House Committee the second time and indeed other assignments he shall be called to do in the future would be approached with the patriotism, he has come to be associated with.
For his constituents, nothing takes away their resolve to continue to support his leadership of the House Committee on Navy, as such will spur him to continue to commit his capacity to offering more credible and fair services; thereby promoting national development and togetherness.
