The Executive Chairman, Kanam Local Government Council, Hon. (Dr). Dayyabu Yusuf Garga (Galadiman Jhar and Walin Garga), has congratulated his Boss and Brother His Excellency, former Executive Governor Of Plateau State, Rt. Hon. (Dr). Simon Bako Lalong (CON), (KSGG), On his nomination as Minister of the Federal Republic Of Nigeria.
A statement by Senior Special Assistant to the Chairman on Media and Student Affairs, Taru Salim Dugub, quoted, Dr Garga stated that Lalong’s nomination is well deserved, "in view of his track records in government which span many years, as well the impacts he has being making on the lives of Plateau State citizens, APC family at National and far beyond".
The Council Boss described Barr. Simon Lalong's nomination as reflection of the President and Commander-In-Chief, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s, acknowledgment of his remarkable abilities and potential to contribute significantly to the growth and development of the Nation.
"We are very confidence that Lalong’s vast knowledge and experience will greatly enhance the effectiveness of the Renewed Hope Administration of President Ahmed Tinubu, as his wealth of experience will bring to bear upon confirmation.
As he embarks on this new journey, it is believed that Barr. Lalong will bring fresh perspectives, innovative ideas, and a commitment to serving the people of Nigeria with no less than integrity and diligence.
"His nomination represents an opportunity to make a positive impact and address the various challenges faced by the Country, ranging from Economic meltdown, insecurity, education and infrastructure".
While, congratulating the Minister nominee, Dayyabu Garga appreciated His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for finding the leader of APC in Plateau State worthy with the opportunity to serve his fatherland.
