He is believed to rank quite high in the pantheon of modern legislators in the world, according to a statement released by the PKK Patriotic Youth Forum on Monday 14th August 2023.
The statement revealed that Rt. Hon. Gagdi who breaks the jinx, remained one of the most vocal, visible, and proactive member of the House of Representatives, “that Nigeria has had since the advent of the 4th Republic when the West African country opted to return to democratic rule”.
“The tireless effort of the determined young man working selflessly and impacting the grassroots with his team for 4 years as a House of Representatives member representing Pankshin/Kanke/Kanam Federal Constituency in Plateau state, made the difference”!
“Back-to-back, the constituents saw his sterling performance on the floor of the green chamber and the numerous projects he attracted to the area, they resolved to re-elect him in 2023 making him the first legislator re-elected in the constituency. He built trust with the people and maintained consistency in his political journey”.
His reappointment as the Chairman House Committee on Navy for two consecutive terms is an indication of his doggedness cum determination for the Nigerian cause.
“Those who have been following his trajectory will attest to the fact that the Nigerian Navy is doing better under his chairmanship”.
Meanwhile, “going by the public hearing on the Investigation of Federal Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs), Parastatals and Tertiary Institutions on the Mismanagement of Personal Recruitment, Employment, Racketeering and Gross Mismanagement of the IPPIS, the choice is not misplaced and doubt that he will deliver the National assignment entrusted to him and continue to make the Plateau people proud as he has been doing”.
The PKK Youth Forum statement attested that Hon. Gagdi was always accessible, approachable, and impacted the lives and well-being of his constituents.
“His human relation with the grassroots was cordial and they attested to the fact that he was sociable, accessible, approachable, and ready to impact their lives through empowerment, employment, and project execution, as he is known for”.
