The member of Kauru Federal Constituency in the House Representatives, Alhaji (Hon) Bashir Yusuf Kurmin Shado has condemned the recent attacks in Gassa and Unguwan mission communities of Kumana chiefdom of Kauru local government area.
The member who made the remark, during his condolence visit to the communities, urged people in the area to shun taking law into their hands.
Alhaji Bashir Yusuf Kurmin Shado restated his determination to collaborate with state government to provide sustainable peace in the area.
He called on authorities concerned to take proactive steps to bring the perpetrators to book in order to face justice, so as to serve as a deterrent to others.
Responding on behalf of the families of the victims, the village Head of Kwassam, John Dauda Meteth thanked the member and his entourage for the visit and appealed to government to deploy more security operatives to the area.
It could be recalled that on Wednesday last week unknown gunmen attacked the communities and killed three people and injured three others.
