The APC governorship candidate for the March 18th election in Plateau State, Nentawe Yilwatda has wished the Muslim Ummah a happy Eid- el- Malaud celebration.
Nentawe, in a statement by his spokesman Shittu Bamaiyi, noted that it is gratifying to the Almighty Allah that the Muslim Ummah is witnessing and celebrating yet another Eid-el-Mulud in a lifetime.
According to him, as enshrined in Holy Qua'ran, one of the most precious and greatest gifts to mankind, is the birth of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him.
Nentawe remarked that since the celebration is in commemoration of the birth of the Prophet, the Muslim Ummah must reflect on His lifetime and activities to imbibe the same.
He advised that it was more significant and instructive to go beyond the celebration, by imbibing and practicing the virtues of Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him.
Nentawe noted that the country is in a trying moment which needs a lot of spiritual and moral rebirth to surmount the daunting challenges
According to him, that can only be possible, if Nigerians of all faiths, sought deliverance and direction from the Almighty in salvaging the country.
Nentawe, while wishing the Muslim Ummah a happy Mulud, enjoined them to pray fervently for the country and its leaders at all levels, to be able to meet the demands of Nigerians.
