"We would like to reassure the public that we are actively working in close collaboration with the First Lady's office to ensure that the financial assistance reaches the most vulnerable individuals who have been directly impacted by the regrettable violence and communal attacks in our state".

To ensure accountability and transparency, the statement explained that, the Plateau State government is working in collaboration with a bank to establish accounts for beneficiaries, "who do not currently possess bank accounts. This will facilitate direct disbursement of the funds to the intended recipients".

"We earnestly appeal to all citizens to remain calm and support the government's efforts in seeking assistance from compassionate individuals, philanthropic organizations, corporate entities, and international bodies. Together, we can alleviate the suffering of the displaced persons within our state".
