The openness with which the Kaduna State governor Uba Sani is steering the affairs of the state, so far has demonstrated he is a true leader who listens to his people’s plight.
Alhaji Muazu Abubakar Majidadin Ruma, Tafidan Afaka, and Sardauna Nagarta Radio disclosed this in an interview with newsmen while commenting on the first Town Hall meeting with the executive governor at the Yar’Adua Indoor Hall, Kaduna.
Tafidan Afaka lauded what he called the pragmatic and people-oriented leadership of Governor Uba Sani for dedicating time to listen to his people for first-hand information, concerning the development of the state.
According to him, from what the governor has said about the projects, started by the administration, it will improve the economic growth of the state and will reduce unemployment in the state.
Alhaji Muazu Abubakar maintained that Governor Uba Sani has, through his oriented programs and policies, restored people’s confidence in governance.
“We are indeed proud of his commitment which has made Kaduna State a model in the implementation of this laudable initiative”.
The Community leader and Sardaunan Nagarta Radio appreciated the decision to review downward the school fees in the state, describing it as a well-thought decision.
“This is in line with His Excellency’s campaign promises to uphold the welfare of the people; to help cushion the effects of the removal of subsidy and the vision to eradicate poverty and provide education to every family”.
“I thank the Governor for being alive to his responsibilities within a short stay in office, we call on all residents in the state, irrespective of all differences to support him to provide more dividends of democracy even as we pledge our unalloyed support and loyalty,” Alhaji Mu’azu added.
