As the celebration of Maulud continues around the world, which marks the birth of the prophet Mohammed some Muslims at 'Yan Doya central mosque Kaduna State western Nigeria organize another maulud gathering at the central mosque.
Pastor Dr. Yohanna Buru the general overseer of Christ Evangelical and Life Intervention Ministry was invited to the mosque to deliver a lecture on peace, unity, and harmony.

Pastor Dr. Yohanna buru emphasized the importance of peace and unity among the adherence of different faith-based organizations. while calling on the entire citizens of the country to equally pray for peace and unity of the country.
The Christian cleric pointed out that every year, the mosque used to invite him and other Christian scholars to participate in the annual maulud celebration inside the mosque to deliver lectures on peace and unity between Muslims and Christians in the state.
He said the Maulud celebration provides a great opportunity for Christians and Muslims to interact, deliberate, and dialogue on better ways to promote religious tolerance and foster peace and unity in the country.
He said even during Ramadan, the chief imam of the mosque used to invite Christians to join Muslims in having an interfaith iftar breakfast for peace and unity.
He said, that this year alone, he has attended over 20 different maulud celebrations, and this has promoted peace and unity in the state.
Responding one of the Muslim preachers, Mallam Gambo Abdullahi Barnawa said that Pastor Dr. Yohanna is a man of peace, and has been recognized worldwide for his efforts to preach peace and unity
He is known for his peace commitment in all the African nations and some parts of Europe and thanked the Christian clerics for honoring their invitation.
