The Newly appointed Sole Administrators, secretaries, and councilors of local government areas of Zamfara State have been urged to promote the core values of local government administration in discharging their duty.
The Commissioner of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs of the state, Engineer Ahmed Garba Inde stated this at the closing of three days of Induction Training for local government administrators in Kaduna State.
Engineer Ahmed Garba Inde explained that the training has spelled out the role and responsibilities of every personnel expected to play in the discharge of his official responsibility for smooth administration in their local government areas for better development in the state.
He also called on the people of Zamfara state to continue to support the state government in its fight against insecurity bedeviled the people of Zamfara state.
Ahmed Garba Inde said security is everyone's business and called on the people of the state to continue to provide security operatives with useful information to rid the state of insecurity.
In their separate remarks the Sole Administrators, secretaries, and councillors thanked the state governor Lawal Dauda for choosing them to serve in his government.
They also assured the Zamfara state government to put what they learned into practice to move the state forward.
