The President Kaduna Baptist Conference Reverend Doctor Ishaya Adamu Jangado in the company of the Conference Chairman, Rev. Dr. Leke Joshua Ogundayo visited Tudun Biri village in Igabi LGA of Kaduna where a military airstrike mistakenly bombed some villagers who were mistaken for bandits.

This is contained in a statement by the Personal Assistant to the Conference President, Rev. Abednego A. Great issued on the 12th of December 2023.

The visit according to the statement was to sympathize with family members who were victims of the unfortunate circumstances. Among these are members of Hosanna Baptist Church and Nagarta Baptist Church Tudun Biri of Buruku Baptist Association.

A Pastor of one of the churches led the Conference Officials to the houses of the victims' families both those who were Christians and Muslims in the community.

The family members expressed gratitude to the leadership of the Conference for coming to identify with them in the tragedy that befall them. The Muslim leaders also appreciated the Christian denomination leaders for coming to sympathize with them.

The Conference President charged the two religions to continue to exhibit this love and Unity among them despite their religious differences.

The Conference President prayed with all families for God's comfort and quick recovery for those injured and hospitalized.
