Muslims, Christians in Kufana Chiefdom To Live In Peace For Development Of The Chiefdom

Muslims and Christians in Kufana Chiefdom Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna State have been charged to continue to live in peace with one another and to give the council the needed support for the development of the Chiefdom.

The Agom Kufana Mr. Titus Dauda gave the Charge while addressing the District, village heads, and people of the chiefdom during a prayer session organized to celebrate his first anniversary as the first Agom Kufana Chiefdom.

The prayer session which took place at the Agom Adara Palace was conducted peacefully with pastors and Imams taking turns to pray for the progress of the country.

The Agom Kufana Mr. Titus Dauda thanked the entire people of his Chiefdom for the support they have been giving to him since he was Turbaned as Agom Kufana and added that their support has contributed immensely in moving the area forward.

 

Mr. Titus Dauda is also seeking more support from the District, village heads, and the entire people of the chiefdom especially in the area of maintaining peaceful coexistence.

The Agom Kufana called on all Christians and Muslims in all parts of the country to celebrate Christmas and New Year in a righteous way.

Speaking During the prayer session, Muslims and Christian clerics described Agom Kufana as a leader whose vision is to unite the people of his Chiefdom irrespective of tribal and religious affiliation.

The Acting District Head of Kufana and other Village heads also speak on the contribution of the Chief and how they have been gating more development since his inception as the Chief of the Kufana Traditional Council.

 They appealed to kajuru and Kaduna state Governments to execute more developmental projects in the Chiefdom and uplift it to a second-class Chiefdom.

The prayer session ended with a call on the entire people of Kufana Chiefdom to assist each other in this trying time for them to celebrate Christmas and New with joy.
