The Jagaban Matan Zazzau, Prof Maryam Abdullahi Aliyu has expressed sympathy to the families of those killed in Tudun Biri in Igbai Local Government of Kaduna State by Nigerian Army's airstrike On Sunday 3rd December 2023.
Prof Maryam who lamented the unfortunate tragedy in a statement, emphasizing that the lives lost were lamentable, prayed to Allah to give the family the strength to bear the irreparable loss.
She remarked, “I am indeed pained by the sad news of the bomb attack on a peaceful gathering.
”My sympathies are with those who are affected and I sincerely pray for the prompt responses by the federal and state governments.”
“I want to express my condolences to the Kaduna State, Emir of Zazzau His Highness, Malam Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, and the people of the State, regarding the terrible occurrence. "I feel sympathy for the victims’ families".
The Jagaban Matan Zazzau urged the affected families not to despair and commended the state government led by Governor Uba Sani for the swift measures put into action to alleviate the hardship of the victims and equally directed emergency aid in support.
Prof Maryam Aliyu who appealed for more prayers to the affected victims, called for the establishment of an appeal fund to support the families of those who lost their lives as well as cater for the education of their children.
