Super Falcons midfielder Halimatu Ayinde showcased her brilliance on the pitch as she found the back of the net for Rosengard FC Feminine during their away match against FC Vittsjo in the Swedish Women's Super Cup.

In a thrilling encounter, Ayinde wasted no time, scoring just twenty-six minutes into the game. Her powerful strike left the Vittsjo goalkeeper helpless, securing a 3-0 victory for her team.

Ayinde's recent recovery from a mild illness didn't hinder her performance. With precision and skill, she placed the ball far beyond the goalkeeper's reach, igniting jubilation among the Rosengard fans.

Speaking to reporters after the match, Ayinde expressed her joy at getting on the scoresheet. She confidently declared that there were more goals to come from her lethal boots.

But Ayinde's message extended beyond the pitch. Addressing her loyal Nigeria Super Falcons fans, she issued a warning to the Banyana Banyana ladies of South Africa ahead of the 2024 Olympics double-header qualifiers.

Her words were clear: "Banyana Banyana, I acknowledge your talent, but the Super Falcons remain the queens of African women's football. The Olympics ticket is non-negotiable."

Attributing her superb form to hard work and divine strength, Ayinde dedicated her goal to her Almighty God, the Rosengard FC Feminine fans, and everyone who contributes to her success.

As the Rosengard team celebrated this victory, Ayinde urged her teammates to maintain their winning momentum. Currently sitting second on the Swedish women's league table, FC Rosengard aims to continue their impressive campaign.
