Representing Chikun/Kajuru Federal Constituency and serving as the Chairman of the House Committee on Sports in the House of Representatives, Hon. Ekene Abubakar Adams has extended a generous gesture by donating 20 million Naira to eight football teams in Kaduna gearing up for the Nationwide League One (NLO) scheduled to commence next month nationwide.
During a press briefing which was well attended by the members of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Kaduna State Chapter, at Ahmadu Bello Stadium (ABS) in Kaduna, Hon. Ekene Abubakar Adams expressed his commitment to supporting sports development in Kaduna State.
He emphasized that the donation aims to bolster the participating teams' logistical needs and overall preparation for the upcoming tournament, with the ultimate goal of reclaiming Kaduna's esteemed position as a football powerhouse in the nation.
