"Kaduna State Unveils Groundbreaking Social Protection Software in Partnership with Save the Children International" - News Panorama

The Kaduna State Government, in collaboration with Save the Children International, launched the first sub-national Social Protection Management Information System on Monday. 

This integrated software aims to consolidate social protection programs across ministries, departments, and agencies in Kaduna State, utilizing the social register for effective implementation. 

Developed by SCI in alignment with the UK-funded ESPID program, it signifies a significant step in strengthening social protection in Nigeria. 

Governor Uba Sani, emphasized its role in the Kaduna Mutual Accountability Framework with the UK Government, acknowledging SCI's contribution to the state's development. 



Represented by the Commissioner Planning and Budget Commission, Mukhtar Ahmed Monrovia, said the initiative reflects the Kaduna state's commitment to leveraging technology for inclusive governance and improved social protection programs. 

The Coordinator, Umar Sani Maikudi highlighted the software's potential to overcome challenges of fragmented information, enhance coordination, and target interventions efficiently for the benefit of citizens.
