Commissioner Rabi Salisu Extends Warm Sallah Greetings to Governor Uba Sani and Deputy Dr. Hadiza Balarabe

In the spirit of the Sallah festival, Honorable Rabi Salisu, Commissioner for Human Services and Social Development, has extended heartfelt congratulations to Governor Uba Sani, Deputy Governor Dr. Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe, and all Muslim faithfuls on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr. 

In a statement she personally signed Hajiya Rabi Sa'id, "the festival marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan, a period of fasting, prayer, and reflection."

She praised the commitment of Muslims across the globe who observed the fast and followed the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW), emphasizing virtues such as forgiveness, kindness, and charity.

 Hajiya Rabi Salisu however, encouraged the well-off to heed the call of the season and use their wealth to support those in need.

As the community comes together to celebrate, Hajiya Rabi's message is one of unity and compassion, reflecting on the teachings that are especially poignant during this festive time. 

She offered prayers for the Almighty Allah to accept the supplications of the worshippers and concluded her message with the traditional greeting, "Barka da Sallah," wishing everyone a blessed and joyous celebration.

The Commissioner's message underscores the importance of social development and human services, aligning with the values of the Ministry he represents. 

"It is a reminder that the Sallah festival is not only a time for celebration but also an opportunity for social reflection and communal support", the statement concluded.
