"Eid El Fitr in Jhar: Royal Call for Unity Echoes as Leaders Convene" -News Panorama

The Jhar Development Association (JDA) leadership joined the Ra'an Jhar of the Jhar Nation, HRH Alh. Mamud Maikano, in Dogon Ruwa for the Eid El Fitr celebrations today, marking the conclusion of the Ramadan fast.

The National President of JDA, Hon. Alh. Yahuza Yusuf Kyansar (Danlatun Jhar), led the executive committee (EXCO) members, including Vice President Hon. Alh. Danlami Mohammad (Garkuwan Jhar), Dr. Tresma, Hon. Isa Jika, and Hon. Mrs. Rachel Ragai, in the festivities at the headquarters of Jhar.

This was contained in a statement issued by the JDA Public Relations Officer, Hon. Isa Adamu Jika in Jos, the capital city of Plateau.

A significant meeting took place between the JDA leadership, the Kanam LGC Chairman, Hon. Ado Yusuf Danboyi (Sardaunan Jhar), the Jhar Progressive Youths Movement, and the Ra'an Jhar with his council. Discussions focused on fostering unity and accelerating the development of Jhar Land.

In a royal directive, the Ra'an Jhar tasked the JDA to initiate an aggressive mission to unite all Jhar stakeholders, regardless of political affiliations, for the betterment of Jhar. 

The President assured the Ra'an Jhar that the EXCO would take prompt action by the directive.

The delegation also paid their respects to the family of the late Baba Abdulhamid Algahanuna Garga, who passed away on April 7, 2024, in Dengi.

They visited Elder Jumba Kacahalla, the Secretary of the JDA, in Gum-Gagdi.
The Jhar community looks forward to a united front as they embark on this mission for a greater Jhar.
