Kaduna State Local Government Employees Union Chairman Plans Youth Football Competition in Mahuta Community
Comrade Rayyanu Isiyaku Turunku, the Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees in Kaduna State, has announced plans to organize a football competition for youths in the Mahuta Community of Igabi Local Government Area.

He made this promise during the final match of the DMF Football Academy Mahuta In-house Ramadan Cup, where Team Salihu emerged as the winner of the competition, defeating Team Salihu 3-0 to clinch the trophy.

Speaking at the event, Coach Lukman Muhammad, Chairman of the Kaduna North Local Football Council, expressed his delight at witnessing the final match. 

He praised the talent present in Mahuta Community, suggesting that the players have the potential to represent both the state and the country in various competitions.
Malam Dahiru Musa Mahuta, the Team Manager of DMF Academy, extended his gratitude to the invited guests and urged other stakeholders to invest in sports for the grassroots development of football.

Among the players recognized for their outstanding performance were Mubarak Abdulaziz of Team Sadam, who won the title of Youngest Best Player, and Abdulgaffar Shittu of Team Salihu, who emerged as the Highest Goal Scorer and Most Valuable Player.

The event was attended by several dignitaries, including Alhaji Yahuza Ibrahim, Wakilin Mahuta, the Team Manager of DMF Football Academy, and the Youth Leader Auwal Munkaila, among others.
