The Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service is pleased to inform the general public, that the Service has constituted a special task force for the enforcement of motor vehicle particulars and old/fake number plates.
This enforcement will focus on both private and commercial buses, taxis, keke (Tricycles), and trucks that are plying the roads with old/fake number plates, and fake and expired vehicle particulars.
A statement issued and signed by the Head of Corporate Communication of the Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service, Zakari Jamilu Muhammad revealed that the task force teams include officers from KADIRS, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Kaduna Traffic Law Enforcement Authority (KASTLE) and others.
“The enforcement teams will be visible in all Senatorial District, Kaduna Central Senatorial District and Southern
Kaduna Senatorial District.”
“Going forward, all vehicle owners should ensure that, their vehicles’ particulars are up-to-date and valid, as enforcement will commence from 30th April 2024.”
The statement however said Motorists can visit the KADIRS website at http://www.kadvreg.net or our offices across the State for renewal of vehicle particulars and purchasing of new number plates.
