The Kaduna State Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs has announced the successful completion of 16 kilometers of road construction in zones one and three of the state. This achievement marks a significant milestone in the ministry's first year in office, under the leadership of Commissioner Sadiq Mamman Lagos.
In an interview, Commissioner Lagos highlighted the ministry's achievements, including the completion of road projects, upgrading and electrification of several communities, and ongoing projects aimed at improving the lives of citizens. He attributed these successes to the vision and leadership of Governor Uba Sani, who has prioritized the well-being of the people of Kaduna State.
Commissioner Lagos emphasized that the ministry is committed to promoting the welfare of the people, despite the current financial challenges facing the state government. Contrary to recent reports, Commissioner Lagos clarified that Governor Uba Sani is not probing the immediate past Governor El-Rufai, but rather seeking to ensure that contractors who abandoned projects after receiving payment return to complete their work.
The Commissioner congratulated Governor Uba Sani on his first-year anniversary, praising his achievements and commitment to the security and betterment of the state. He expressed optimism that the governor's development plans will continue to yield positive results for the people of Kaduna State.
