The Kanam Patriotic Youths Forum (KPYF) has congratulated two of its illustrious sons, Prof Mohammad Alhassan Gani and Hon Sadat Garga, on their new appointments by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as chairman and member of the governing council of federal tertiary institutions.
In a statement issued by the forum's spokesperson, Comrade Bashir Auta, the forum praised the appointments as a testament to the duo's experience and leadership competence.
Prof Gani, a seasoned teacher and professor of great repute, has been appointed as chairman of the governing council of Federal College of Education, Ofeme-Ohuhu, Imo State, while Hon Garga, an experienced politician with a track record of dedication and commitment to grassroots politicking, has been appointed as a member of the governing council of the University of Calabar.
The forum expressed confidence in the ability of the duo to drive the president's "Renewed Hope" agenda in their respective institutions, and thanked President Tinubu for finding two of their sons worthy of these appointments.
They also acknowledged the role played by party leaders in the state, particularly Rt Hon Yusuf Adamu Gagdi, for their lobbying and individual contributions towards the actualization of these appointments.
The forum wished the duo well in their respective offices and prayed for God's guidance and protection to reflect positively on the people of Kanam LGA.
