The Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) has felicitated with the Minister of Sports Development, Senator John Owan Enoh, on the occasion of his birthday.
In a press release signed by the Secretary-General, Amb. Ikenna Okonkwo, SWAN President, Mr. Isaiah Benjamin, described Senator Enoh as a trailblazer who has made significant impact in the sports sector.
"Senator John Owan Enoh is a visionary leader who has demonstrated strong will and courage in ensuring that the sports sector stands out," said Mr. Benjamin. "Despite not having a background in sports administration, he has shown remarkable focus and managerial expertise in tackling issues from athletes' welfare to sound administrative drive, with visible results."
The SWAN President praised the Minister's resolve to achieve enviable results and wished him greater times ahead, full of life, sound health, and fulfillment of his heart desires.
The association's congratulatory message was issued on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, as Senator Enoh marked another year of his life.
