Hon. Rayyan Hussein Pledges Improved Staff…Vows to Make Kaduna South Local Government Best in State

The National Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) Kaduna South local government chapter, has paid a courtesy visit to the Chairman of the Council, Hon. Rayyan Hussein, Led by Acting NULGE Chairman, Comrade Tijani Iliyasu and other executive members, the union discussed key issues affecting staff welfare which include;


– Leave Grants and Allowance: Ensuring staff receive necessary support during sickness, death, and festive periods (Sallah and Christmas tokens).

– Staff Quarters and Office Renovation: Providing adequate housing and working conditions for employees.

– Cooperative Account Funding: Enhancing staff financial well-being.

– Professional Certification Sponsorship: Investing in employees’ skills and knowledge.

– Skill Acquisition Centers: Fostering capacity building and entrepreneurship.


Hon. Rayyan Hussein reassured the union that all requests would be considered, emphasizing staff welfare as a top priority. He stressed that stable staff are essential for efficient service delivery.



The Chairman solicited staff cooperation and dedication, pledging to make Kaduna South Local Government the best in Kaduna State. He also sought prayers for successful delivery on his campaign promises.



Meanwhile, the meeting with the representative of the local government workers is expected to strengthen cordial relationships towards improving staff welfare and working conditions in Kaduna South Local Government.
