The Mupsa Foundation, a non-governmental organization, has organized a comprehensive medical outreach and Christmas celebration for the less privileged in Kaduna state.
The medical outreach, held in Kara Tudu, Chikun local government area, provided essential medical services to hundreds of individuals, including general health check-ups, screenings, and health education sessions.
The foundation also distributed Christmas gifts to people with special needs at Kano Road, Kaduna North Local Government Area.
According to the Founder and Executive Director of Mupsa, Mr. Emmanuel Isaac, the initiative aimed to address the healthcare needs of the underserved population in Kaduna and bring festive cheer to those in need.
Mr. Isaac emphasized the importance of giving back to the community and highlighted the foundation’s commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of the less privileged.
The foundation also conducted eye examinations with the aim of improving the overall health and well-being of the community, particularly the most vulnerable groups like the widows and orphans, disclosed the attending doctor, Dr Canice Dim Infeanyi who said the intervention was crucial in addressing the immediate health needs of these women and preventing further complications.
Speaking shortly after the food distribution exercise at Kano road, Mrs. Justina Inedu Ogwa, a board member of the Mupsa Foundation, expressed her deep concern over the condition of the people, especially the young ones whose future appears bleak. “It breaks my heart to see young children with so much potential being held back by circumstances beyond their control,” Mrs. Ogwa said.

She emphasized the need for concerted efforts to address the root causes of poverty and provide a brighter future for the next generation. ” I am calling on well meaning Nigerians to support Mupsa to put smiles on the faces of these people with special needs which in turn God will also pay you back with kindness”
Beneficiaries of the medical outreach praised the foundation for providing essential healthcare services, while those who received Christmas gifts expressed their joy and gratitude.
The Mupsa Foundation’s initiative has brought hope and joy to the Kaduna community, demonstrating the power of compassion and community spirit.
