Kaduna State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), has felicitated Governor Uba Sani on the occasion of his 54th birthday celebration.
The Union in a statement jointly issued by the Council Chairman and Secretary, AbdulGafar Alabelewe and Gambo Santos Sanga respectively, described Governor Sani as a transformative leader who has unified the diversely people of Kaduna State.
According to NUJ, Governor Uba Sani deserves to be celebrated as he marks his 54th birthday, as he is a transformative leader, who has performed creditably well in rural and urban development.
“As a Union, we have watched with keen interest the leadership style of Senator Uba Sani, the Executive Governor of Kaduna State and we can say without mincing words that, he is a unifier, for he has ran an inclusive government, carrying all sections of Kaduna State along irrespective of ethnic and religious diversity.
“We have also noted the great impacts of the Governor Uba Sani’s Rural Transformation Agenda on the development of the mostly agrarian rural communities of Kaduna State.
“Kaduna State Council of the NUJ has equally noted the commitment of Governor Uba Sani’s administration to addressing the age-long challenge of out of school children, through massive investment in school infrastructures, school feeding and teachers training.
“In the same vein, his massive investment in skill acquisition, through establishment of three Skills Acquisition Cities in Igabi, Zango-Kataf and Soba Local Government Areas, is a testament his strong desire to empower the youths.
“We also commend the Governor for his renewed partnership with the media through the NUJ towards moving Kaduna state to a greater height,” the statement read.
The NUJ however wished Governor Sani more years of sound health and greater wisdom to deliver the greater Kaduna State he envisioned.
