KADUNA – The Managing Director and CEO of the Kaduna State Media Corporation (KSMC), Ben SD Kure, has described Governor Uba Sani’s 2026 budget as a masterstroke in grassroots engineering, specifically praising the ₦100 million allocation to every political ward in the state.
In a New Year message released to the public, the KSMC Chief Executive lauded the Governor’s vision, noting that the 2026 fiscal year marks a turning point for rural dwellers across Kaduna’s 23 Local Government Areas.
A New Frontier for Rural Development
Kure highlighted that the allocation of One Hundred Million Naira (₦100,000,000) to each of the 255 wards is an unprecedented move in the history of the state. He argued that this direct investment strategy addresses the core needs of the people by bypassing traditional bottlenecks to reach the "heartbeat" of the state.
"This singular action is not only bold and daring but also a practical demonstration of governance that listens, cares, and delivers," Kure stated. "It lays a solid foundation for rural transformation, local participation, and economic stimulation."
Institutional Support and Economic Reform
The MD/CEO also used the medium to express confidence in the broader APC-led administration. He pointed to the synergy between state and federal efforts in:

* Infrastructure & Security: Strengthening the foundation for a more peaceful and prosperous Kaduna.
* Economic Resilience: Implementing reforms that stabilize the state's economy despite global challenges.
Call for Patriotic Support
Transitioning into 2026, Kure called on the citizens of Kaduna State and Nigerians at large to maintain a spirit of unity. He emphasized the importance of supporting leaders through prayer and active citizenship, asking for "wisdom, strength, and grace" for Governor Uba Sani and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
"As we enter the New Year, let us remain committed to the common good and supportive of the visionary leadership that is reshaping our land," the statement concluded.
