Ranchers Bees Football Club of Kaduna has appointed renowned sports broadcaster and grassroots football administrator, Jide Bodunde, as the club's new Secretary.
The appointment, approved by the club's management, will take effect from June 15, 2026, according to an official letter signed by the Club Director, Aliyu Abdulsamad.
The club said the decision followed a review of Bodunde's profile, qualifications, and contributions to sports development.
Bodunde is widely respected in Nigeria's sports media industry, having built a reputation as a broadcast and sports anchor with Brila FM Kaduna, where he has covered major sporting events and promoted grassroots sports development through insightful analysis and reportage.
Beyond broadcasting, he has remained actively involved in football administration at the grassroots level, contributing to the growth and organization of local football competitions and youth development programmes.
In his new role, Bodunde will be responsible for maintaining club records and correspondence, preparing meeting minutes and reports, coordinating administrative activities, liaising with football authorities, and carrying out other duties assigned by the club's management.
The appointment is seen as a strategic move by Ranchers Bees FC as the club continues efforts to strengthen its administrative structure and position itself for greater success on and off the pitch.
Football stakeholders in Kaduna have welcomed the development, describing Bodunde as a seasoned sports professional whose experience in media and football administration will bring added value to the club's operations.
