KADUNA – The National Chairman of the Yari 774 Initiative for Asiwaju, Mr Ibrahim Emokpaire, has reaffirmed the group’s commitment to securing the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027, saying the organisation remains focused on deepening its nationwide grassroots mobilisation drive.
Speaking during a strategic visit to Kaduna State as part of the group’s North-West tour, Mr Emokpaire said the initiative was fully aligned with the Renewed Hope Agenda and determined to ensure the President wins a second term in office.
“We are going to work day and night to ensure that we deliver President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his second term because he has done well so far,” he said. “Our efforts will continue beyond 2027 as we remain committed to strengthening the progressive movement across the country.”
He made the remarks while meeting with the newly inaugurated Kaduna State Executive Committee of the Yari 774 Initiative, a platform established to mobilise grassroots support across Nigeria’s 774 local government areas.
Mr Emokpaire explained that the initiative enjoys the backing of its grand patron and sponsor, Senator Abdul’aziz Abubakar Yari, and disclosed plans to formally unveil its manifesto and broader vision during its forthcoming national inauguration.
He also commended the Kaduna chapter for its organisation and dedication, describing the state as a key pillar in the movement’s expansion strategy in the North-West.
Earlier, the Kaduna State Coordinator, Aminu Ibrahim Yaro Suleiman, welcomed the national delegation and reaffirmed the readiness of members in the state to fully support the objectives of the initiative. He said the Kaduna chapter was prepared to play a leading role in mobilising grassroots support across all local government areas.
Suleiman described the visit as a clear demonstration of the national leadership’s commitment to strengthening the movement and promoting unity among members.
On concerns surrounding insecurity in parts of the country, Mr Emokpaire acknowledged the challenges but expressed confidence that the Tinubu administration would overcome them through ongoing reforms and security interventions.
He added that members of the initiative would continue to support government efforts aimed at restoring peace, improving livelihoods, and driving national development.
The visit highlighted the organisation’s growing presence in Kaduna State and its determination to build a strong grassroots structure ahead of the 2027 general elections.
With the Kaduna chapter now fully aligned with the national leadership, the Yari 774 Initiative is expected to intensify mobilisation across the North-West as political preparations gradually gather momentum for the next electoral cycle.
