Kanam Local Government Council will soon upgrade Dengi Market to a modern one to enhance trade and services.
The chairman of Honourable Dayyabu Yusuf Garga (Galadiman Jhar) stated this when he and the council deputy, Honourable Bala Haruna together with some of cabinet members paid a working visit to the leadership of the market.
The chairman who promised to do the needful to ameliorate the challenges traders have being facing said when the market is constructed it will generate revenue to Kanam Local Government.
Earlier in a remark, the chairman of Dengi market (Sarkin Kasuwa) appreciated the visit by the executive chairman and promised to ensure more revenue generation at the market.
Also in a similar visit, the council chairman, Dayyabu Yusuf Garga has
interfaced with the leadership of National Union of Road Transport Workers, (NURTW), Dengi branch Kanam LG.
The chairman and his team were warmly welcome by the NURTW chairman, Alhaji Yahaya and executive members of the association at the motor park Dengi.
Alhaji Garga said, he is going round to access and look at the problem that the union is facing at the park.
The NURTW chairman, Alhaji Yahaya listed most of the serious problem that for long has been disturbing them at the park.
While in his respond, the executive chairman promised to send the engineers to the side with immediate effect.
