Cleen Foundation Trains Security Operatives on Human Rights Documentation

Security agencies have been called upon to put into use what they have learned at the two days capacity building on human rights documentation and management for the agencies in the North East and North West of Nigeria. 


The Director of Clean Foundation for Justice Sector Reform, Mr. Salawudeen Hashim stated this in Kaduna at a two-day training on facts finding on police misconduct and other security agencies workable in the public. 


Salawudeen Hashim explained that the training will also help the security agencies in coordinating and educating them on how to handle conflict.  


He said with this engagement facilitated by the Foundation, the professional conduct of some police has changed in handling human beings in the public. 

   

Salawudeen Hashim commanded Human Rights Commission in the region for their effort towards handling and resolving human rights violations in the country. 


Also, Speaking at the training, the Senior Legal Officer of the commission, Bauchi office, Yusuf Musa applauded the Foundation for bringing police and other security operatives together to build their capacity on how to discharge their civil responsibility. 


Some of the participants drawn from North East and North West interviewed expressed delight with the Clean Foundation for building the synergy that will promote the working experience between the different security agencies of the regions.
