“Ibrahima Yakubu lives, writes for good of Humanity…Deserves Award” -News Panorama

 

The Online News medium, http://www.newspanorama.com.ng has described the award for an outstanding Science, Climate Change, and Tropical Diseases best reporter for 2022, to Ibrahima Yakubu as a well-deserved honor.


Lead Writer, http://www.newspanorama.com.ng and Director, Center for Media Advocacy and Research for Development, (CMARD), Zakari Haruna Isah who stated this in a statement, said the senior correspondent of German International Radio (Deutsche Welle) Hausa, Ibrahima has always lived his life for the betterment of humanity.


“All day, he looks for new stories, writes new stories, and always discusses them with other journalists, Ibrahima Yakubu lives a life for humanity taking the risk to reach out to remote communities several times on makeshifts local boats”.

The statement while congratulating him urged other journalists to emulate and practice to better society.


Zakari Isah stressed that Ibrahima Yakubu has paid his due and would always be a reference point as well as a source of knowledge and research in the science, climate change, and tropical diseases reportage.


He thanked the African institute of waste management and environmental studies for identifying one of us and called on the institute to continue in that direction to spur other journalists to rededicate their pens for science and climate change writings.


It could be recalled that during a Day Science conference put together by the African climate reporters and the African Institute of waste management and environmental studies Ibrahima Yakubu senior correspondent of German international radio (Deutsche Welle) Hausa was presented with the award in Kaduna, Nigeria.
