Kaduna State FA Board Member Lauds Armed Forces and Other Allied Organizations Championship




The Kaduna State Football Association board member, Engr Yusuf Abubakar 'Best' has described the ongoing Armed Forces and Other Allied Organizations Football Championship as a huge success.

Engr Yusuf said for the game will provide great benefits to the officers, like fitness and mental alertness to help them carry out their tasks of security and safeguarding the economy.

"The Kaduna State Football Association is proud to see the success of this competition, it is a great opportunity for the officers to tune up and get mental alertness for their wellbeing".

"So, far, I can tell you the matches are going on fine and I have watched some quality play from these players, they have been good ambassadors of their respective organizations"

The Kaduna FA board member called on sponsors to come forward and partner with the state FA for a better and more organized next edition.

"You see corporate bodies and companies, as well as individuals, need to invest in this kind of competition as part their corporate social responsibility, even as indirectly, helping improve security generally which in turn secure the future of their various investments in the state," he said.

Engr Yusuf Best thanked the FA chairman, Alkassim Shareef for his purposeful leadership which has brought more respect to the state football body.

"Because of his fatherly and purposeful style of leadership, the board was stable".

In the meantime, semi-finalists have emerged from their groups, they are the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corp, (NSCDC), Civilian Joint Task Force, (CJTF), Kaduna Vigilance Service, ( KADVIS) and Federal Road Service Corp, (FRSC)

NSCDC emerged first in the first group with 7 points, ahead of bb second place, FRSC with 4 points, while, in the second group, it was goal difference that sent KADVIS top on 4 points above CJTF also on the same points.

The semi-final pairings indicated NSCDC will take on CJTF - @ Police College Field and the second semi-final match involved KADVS Vs FRSC @ NDA Sports Complex on Monday 24th, 2022.
