GCM welcomes youth campaign directorate, says victory is divine

Plateau State Governor-elect Caleb Mutfwang, GCM, has disclosed that his victory in last month's gubernatorial elections is divine, thus anyone who fights it, is surely going to lose, as no mortal fights God and wins.

Governor-elect Caleb Mutfwang made the disclosure when he welcomed the Youth Campaign Directorate of the Atiku/Mutfwang Campaign Council on a courtesy call, at the Jonah David Jang Lodge, Old Government House Rayfield, Jos.

The Governor-elect was visibly elated to receive the youths who traversed the nooks and crannies of the State campaigning for him, and urged them to be steadfast and not intimidated by the noise about a petition in court, stressing that his victory is not man-made.

"I don't want you to be intimidated. This victory is not man-made. So, if you like to fight against God, fight, but I know that nobody fights against God and wins, So there is no need to be intimidated."

He went further to buttress that the quality of a petition, not its volume, is what matters during adjudication, while also demystifying the myth of Tuesdays in the sequence of events following his declaration as Plateau's Governor-elect.

 
"They say every Tuesday something will happen. Tuesday comes and passes, and more Tuesdays would come and pass, until God takes us to May 29th. So, Do not be intimidated. If you like you can bring a petition of 500 pages, 1 page will defeat it. So, it is not about the number of pages.

"There is no need to worry. God is with us. God is with us. I am saying this with every confidence, that God is with us. He has decided to help us, and He will see it to the very end".

Earlier, the youths had delivered their goodwill message through the Director General of the youth campaign directorate, Comrade Hitler Pwajok.

 They congratulated the Governor-elect for a deserved victory, and gave themselves a pat on the back for a job well done.
